A little about Thomas
Having lived in Wickersley my entire life, I have a deep-rooted passion for our community and its future. I attended school here, met my fiancée in the area, and have always appreciated the village's unique character, green spaces, and strong sense of togetherness.
I am currently studying for a degree in education, with the goal of becoming a primary school teacher. Alongside my studies, I work as a course organiser for an educational training company, promoting outdoor learning for young children. My experience in education and community-focused projects has strengthened my skills in communication, problem-solving, and organisation—skills I now bring to my role as a councillor.
As a dedicated advocate for environmental protection and community engagement, I am committed to preserving Wickersley's green spaces, supporting local businesses, and ensuring residents' voices are heard in every decision the council makes. Whether through improving local amenities, fostering sustainability initiatives, or creating more opportunities for young people, I am eager to contribute to making Wickersley an even better place to live.
