Welcome to Wickersley Parish Council

Wickersley is a beautiful and historic parish. It has many rural aspects with two woodland areas - Wickersley Wood and Wickersley Gorse, two large recreational areas - Bob Mason Recreational Ground and Wickersley Park. The Parish office is based in the Community Centre and Library in the heart of the village. The village itself has a busy shopping area alongside a vibrant social scene. Winthrop Gardens, at the edge of the village, is a community and sensory Gardens and Tea Rooms run by a team of 70+ volunteers supported by the Parish Council.

More information and images about the rich history of Wickersley can be found on the Local History pages of this website.
